Have You Accounted for Groundwater Treatment Costs?

Groundwater treatment is often overlooked in Vietnam construction budgets even though it can be a major cost.

Common causes include insufficient geotechnical investigation, limited understanding of local hydrology and inadequate budgeting experience.

Based on our project experience, groundwater treatment may account for 5–15% of total construction cost and can be higher in special geological conditions. Thorough investigation, local expertise and an appropriate contingency budget are recommended.
